Square Knot and Granny Knot Learn to tie both

Lear to tie the Square Knot. It is one of the most useful knots to learn to tie. It is for attaching two ropes of equal or close to equal size. The Granny Knot is a Square Knot that is not tied correctly. It will work but is not as secure. We will demonstrate both and talk about the difference. If tying a bow and the bow ends at an angle it is because of the way you tied it. We will also show the difference in tying a bow. A Bow is a Square Knot with the ends looped and not pulled out.
