Raised Bed Fall Cleanup, Prepare your Garden for Winter

We need to prepare our raised garden bed for spring planting. In this video we start with an overgrown raised bed. After talking about some of the things we grew in this bed this year, we precede to clean most of it out. We have a rosemary plant that has been in this bed for years, and it is the only plant not removed. After cleaning the raised bed out we add a layer of compost. This is all we do at this point. Later in the fall, we will add a layer of mulched up leaves. By doing these simple things, we will have our bed mostly ready for spring planting.
