We review this Bushnell 500 Lumens HeadLamp from opening the box to using it. It used 3 AAA batteries and they are included in the package. It has 4 modes: High, Low, Flood and Red. The adjustment from high to low is adjustable at any point. As you hold the button in for the light, it will cycle down from bright to dim and back. It will keep cycling up and down as long as you hold the button in. When you release the button, it will stay at that level of brightness. There is a separate button for the Flood and Red Light. Overall, I give this Bushnell Headlight a positive rating.
